What makes this different than a normal Passover meal?
This will be a guided Passover meal from a Christian perspective. This will be a time to explore the symbolism found within the Passover Feast; especially relating to the Lord’s Communion. The goal is to greater understanding of the sacrifice and atonement Jesus, the Lamb of God, made for us from scripture.
What food is being served?
While food is being served, this is not a full meal. A small portion of lamb will be served, charoseth (a sweet combination of fruits and nuts including walnuts and apples), matzoh crackers, and grape juice. We recommend a light meal before the event.
How long will the Seder meal be?
While a normal Passover meal is usually about 45-60 minutes in duration, due to the guided explanation of symbolism throughout the meal, please plan on 2.5-3 hours for the event.
Will there be childcare available?
No. There is no childcare available but children are welcome. Please be aware, however, that most of the duration of the event is seated at round tables.
